making butter

I think that your biggest problem would be in separating your cream from your milk. To get very much cream out of goats milk you need a separator. Used ones can be found. You can use a number of kitchen appliances to make butter from the cream, but separating the cream from your milk would probably be hard without proper equipment. Good luck.

I agree you need a separator for instance. on a 1/2 gal jug of goats milk you might be lucky to see 1/4 in of cream after it has sat a day. with the same of cows milk u will probably see 2 in of cream. I have tried skimming it off and saving it up just to eat on my cereal as I love cream but I have gone back to buying whipping cream at the store for that as is toooooooo much trouble.
