christmas stuff for your goats?

I thought I'd stuff a stocking with some dried leaves from the yard...maybe a baby carrot or two... Any other festive ideas for some spoiled-rotten girls?

I'm stuck on a holiday dessert theme myself. What about a few ginger snaps and a little sliver of fruit cake?

-Ok, so my guys have me pretty well trained.

No I will not stuff a stocking inside my goat!

Turkey stuffing won't work either....too much bread.

Now stuffing my goat with apples..hummmmmm and carrots...a little oregano perhaps ..oh yum! .......sweet potatos, oh my!

I hadn't thought about goat stuffing..thanks!

:haha: :haha:

Some what more seriously, my does will probably get an extra bucket of oats, mostly because we're getting a cold front a couple of days before Christmas.

Ouch! That made me laugh. The oats are a good idea - it's awfully cold here too. And fruitcake - oh my! I'm glad to know I'm not the only one with royalty in the backyard.

I'm giving the goats and sheep cabbages and the chickens a can of mackerel.

I wonder if goats would eat candy canes? Festive, yet cheap- my goats will eat anything I hand them, including Altoids!
My sister gave them popcorn balls last Christmas, which they loved.
The ruminants got their "big present" in Nov. when I bought them 2.5 tons of prime grade alfalfa. They eat that like it's candy!
