Question Checking tendons at tail base? HUH????

Here is a quote that has me mystified.

<<<<Have you checked her tendons at tail base? If they feel loose she is near to kidding.>>>>>

Could someone please explain in such a way that my thick skull can absorb this information? LOL
I just cant picture what/where the heck I am supposed to be feeling for tendons. A picture would be perfect.
THANKSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!

Try this, there are pictures:

There's quite a dramatic difference in the tendons of a doe getting ready to kid. The tail feels like it is only held on by skin and is about to fall off!

Thankyou AnnaS!
So... in those pics on the link you gave me - the very first pic - right where the person's hand is, is that where I am supposed to be feeling for tendons?
Thanks again!

Yep! Just put your fingers in a "v" and press down- you'll feel the tendons, like cords. When they are within 24 hrs of kidding, those tendons will totally disappear and the tail feels very floppy and loose.
Good luck! It will make sense when your doe actually kids!
