Anyone else seen these bumps by doe's teats?

I don't think there is anything wrong with her, but last season she didn't have these bumps. But she also didn't have kids nursing her, just me milking her. I thought I would try to get more information so that I will be more knowledgeable next go around! I'm always trying to learn!

I have a doe like that as well, she also ended up having very small orifices so hand milking is a no go. I'd love to hear someone explain what they are!

My vet said they are misplaced milk glands. On my doe if you squeeze them you will have a very tiny stream of milk. They don't cause me any problem.

It's officially called weeping teats in the vet text books. Yes, misplaced mammary tissue producing milk. I had a LaMancha with those. Just make sure you use clean milking practices so they don't get infected.

Yup, weeping teats. Sundae had that a bit last year, but it seems to have gone away on its own. Not a problem as long as its kept clean.

Thank you, I appreciate the info. Good to know it's not something seriously wrong with her!
