Need some advice

My best doe gave birth to quads yesterday on the wee hours of the night I went out to find four little ones cleaned active and my doe ate well drank. There were two placentas lying in straw. I saw everyone pee and nurse, mama looked great. and I was thrilled not to have been involved.
this am went out my doe is lethargic, she seems heavy lidded looks as if she is peeing blood tinge with bits of pink tissue I watched her pee once however and it was normal light yellow tinged urine but the next time it was bloody with tissue so I believe it is coming from the vagina, however she squats like she is peeing.
temp 102.5, have her mollassa (sp) water, and she ate a bit. Milked her down a bit as she is heavy with milk. Gave her vitamin B and penicillin.

need any suggestions she drank and ate but not nearly as much as usual.

The babies seem ok but two have that bright yellow poop that I've never seen before, but I think is ok.

Thanks to everyone in advance- Thea

Bright yellow poop is fine for kids.

Her temp was normal and now that you started antibiotics, you should continue for 7days at least. It doesn't sound like an infection was the problem, however. Here is hoping she's just sore and her maternal instincts are keeping her from being less active.

I'd make sure she has excellent hay and try more grain later. Note any changes or new symptoms while watching her.
SueBee and boerboy like this.
