Treating Barberpole with Prohibit

I have a goat that is more prone to B.P. worms and I was thinking about using Prohibit on her. She currently has two two-week old kids on her.

Has anyone used this on milking animals, and is the dose the same for goats as sheep (as listed on the back of the Prohibit packaging)?

Thanks!

Dang, my go-to link is down : http://www.dairygoatinfo.com/f28/wor...wormers-21389/

Anywho, that does list the proper prohibit dose. I don't know it off the top of my head because I haven't had to use it yet. Hope it gets back up soon.

This is what I did after measuring VERY carefully.

2 LEVEL Tbsp plus 1 LEVEL tsp in 8 3/4 ounces of water.

Dose at 2 cc per 50 pounds.
nehimama and CarolynRenee like this.

Yes that is the dose I got and I have used it on milking does. One breeder told me she had a goat in dire straits with stubborn barberpole and nothing else, even Cydectin (which is the wormer of choice for HC) worked. She used Prohibit and the doe recovered.
