stored vaccine safety question
I have a partly used vial of CDT vaccine, still within date, which I've been storing in my fridge. Hoegger's told me it would keep until its date so long as it was refrigerated. But... I've kept it in the back of the fridge in a ziploc bag. Today when I got it out there were bits of mold in the bag (not solid, not fuzzy, just dark specks here and there). The vial has a rubber seal on top, not covered by a screw cap.
Can I still use the contents of the vial if I wipe the top with an alcohol swab first, or am I still apt to be injecting my goat with potentially dangerous molds? (I'm guessing I shouldn't use it...)
