Fate is a funny thing

When Feline kidded this year as soon as I saw this years doeling it was love! Everything about her is perfect (at least in my eyes) then Pebbles kidded a doeling which my DM loves so a had to make a choice...
I decided that I would keep both doelings but I would sell Penelope, Feline's daughter from last kidding she just turned a yr this month. I had only just decided this a few weeks ago, 3 days ago I got a FB message from a person that I had met at the farmers market wanting to know if I had any goats for sale...
Now mind you I talked to a lot of people at the market and this was the markets last market day of the season to which we the vendors make it into a big thing, local band, tickets for raffle for some vendor items, petting zoo. I had taken Flash for the petting and he was a big hit! There were only 2 of us that had brought critters up...but this young family I do remember and am tickled that they remembered me.
They came out yesterday to see my goats and we talked for HOURS they are newbie goat owners so new that penny will be their first.....ok! So since a lonely goat is a sad goat, they only live 45 minutes from me, and the mom now has my FB page I am going to let Genevieve go to this young family (she is doing well but still slow in gaining weight) I feel real good about this. Both are going to get a lot of one on one with the whole family (mum, dad and 4 younguns(6mo, 4yr, 6yr, 8yr old) and I am just down the road so to speak.

Aw, I could have told that same story, except from the other side, that's about how I got Sundae. Sometimes the right person and the right goat just fall together!
