Carrot greens and goats?
Any issue with feeding carrot greens to goats?
Last year, we overseeded our pasture with daikon radishes to help aerate the soil. This year, I'd like to add carrots -- the radishes did very well, but carrots are a bit more useful, and carrots do REALLY well here. At the end of the season, I figure I can harvest any carrots that the goats and chickens miss.
Rest of the pasture is crimson clover, tall fescue, daikon radish, assorted weeds (including mullein and prickly pear -- you know you live in Arizona when you weed with kitchen tongs), sunflowers, and (sigh) bindweed.
