My goat Nancy

I just thought id get some opinions on when you think she's going to kid. I've attached pictures of her as well as a secretion and her colostrum that's leaking. goatgirl, It appears that she is pushing in the second photo. IF that is correct, hos long has that been going on? Do you have any idea when she was bred? Do you know the size of the buck with which she was bred? Has she kidded before?
I will say this (only to be totally proven wrong! LOL) she looks closer than our Safari who is due tomorrow and I did see her bred and she has always been on the button...and she looks like she is perfectly happy to continue to with this pregnancy for the next year or two!!! Walking around the pasture nibbling and calling to her buds...not a care in the world!! Of course, things usually happen FAST!!

She only has done the push things twice. Once this morning and once last night. This is her 2nd kidding. I don't know when she was bred, I actually just bought her as "not bred" three days ago. But clearly that's not accurate. Anyways, im hoping she will go soon and hoping I don't have to go in and reposition the kid(s) but it's looking like I'm going to have to.

I am one of those lucky few who have not had to do more than put a couple of fingers inside to assist when somebody got stuck so you will need more assistance than I can offer...however, a good friend had a kidding yesterday that was difficult to "get going". It turned out to be 3 kids and the first one was deceased. He appeared to have died maybe just before the kidding not as a result of the kidding...it can be difficult for the dam to move on her own 1) a dead kid 2) a kid that is in a bad position and needs turning 3) a jumble of kids all trying to enter the world at the same time. I wouldn't wait too long to see if you can figure out what is up with her although I completely understand the reluctance to "jump in." If she seems comfortable, if she is not exhausted and you think you can handle it, then perhaps she just needs time. Otherwise, I would contact a vet. Best of luck!
