Baby Pics!

Our first kids of the year were born 1/13. We won't have more until May (that's a long story), but these are being bottle raised so I have my hands full anyway! Unfortunately, we lost their dam a few short days after she kidded to gangrene mastitis that went septic. We are keeping the little doeling (the buckskin), but the two boys are available...hint hint.

We put them in the red bucket to carry them to the house and carry them around while trying to save their mom, so don't worry...they are NOT living in the bucket.

One of the very precious things about goats are the "kid piles." Adorable but I'm sorry you lost their mother.

Darling babies! I love it that they all fit in a bucket, SO cute. I can't wait until March... neither can Sundae I think...

We're betting on triplets because I've been telling her for months that quads (AGAIN) would be excessive.

I missed this post!! and pictures of babies are my favorites! Yours prove once again that there is nothing in the world cuter than baby goats (except human, of course). Sorry you lost mama..she was a lovely goat, too. I'm sure the kids are out of their bucket by now...so, are they living in the house, mom???!

For now! Tomorrow they have a date with the barn! But I'll still be bringing them inside at night. I can't just totally kick them out, even if they are little pee pots.

LOL! On two counts: 1) I have not heard "pee pots" in a long time EXCEPT for me calling my grandbabies that! Love it!! 2) I always feel that you cannot keep them inside too long and I have the photos and the stains to prove it...some of us are just push overs and the goats know it!
