Nibbler's kids

So last sunday Nibbler started kidding out around 8:30 pm. I had just stepped outside when I heard a kid crying knew it wasn't one of the other week old kids. Since I had just put Nibbler in the kidding pen that day I ran in there, temps had dropped to pretty cold, apparently she kidded out 2 one right after the other and hadn't gotten the chance to clean the one before the other came.
(So cold that my damp hands were trying to stick to metal)
The black and white buckling wasn't moving much and felt cold, the brown and white buckling was the one hollering. So I grabbed them both and went into the house and my mom dried off the brown and white one while I worked on the black and white.
These boys are very small and Nibbler's milk hasn't really come in until this morning almost a whole week! Been milking Pawnee, Faline, and Nibbler then bottle feeding these 2. Think she had them early??? The little black and white was very lethargic and cold but he made it.

AwwwwwWWWWW! I'm betting they won't stay in that laundry basket for very long!

Are their bottom teeth erupted? If so, they probably aren't early.

They are precious! I was going to ask what Nehimama did: If their teeth are there, they aren't early.

Keep us posted, okay?

Doing good, took them outside to meet their mother. Lets just say all the other doe's showed more interest in them than their own mother. So looks like I am going to just bottle feed them. Got to compare them against the 3 week old kids, these guys are so little, will they catch up?

With the wonderful way you care for your herd, I'm sure they'll catch up eventually.

Human premies do, so I'd assume goat premies do as well.
