Smile Nigerian Dwarf Goat Bucks in Alabama

Hi, does anyone know of some Nigerian Dwarf goat bucks in Alabama that would be available for breeding. It would have to be within three hours of Talladega, AL.
I am looking for Bucks with Mom/Daughter production records of over 450 lbs. and 3.9% Butterfat with good conformation and no health problems (ex: Occasional runny nose- fine, High worm load/CAE- NO WAY!)
Would prefer Dam/Daughters to have awards in milk production and buck to be starred with a good ADGA show record, but will think about others.
Thanks!

If you know anybody who does AI, I have semen from a buck I used to own that would probably fit the bill. His yearling Nigerian daughter that I have here has milked so far (still in milk), 239 days, 580 lbs milk, 33 lb fat (5.7%), 24 lb protein (4.1%). That doe has her dry leg. Does in other herds milking well also, but not on milk test. I have also had some mini's (alpine x Nigerian) from him and they have also milked exceptionally well, one of them milked extremely steadily for about 14 months, almost every test same amount. She finished her championship earning legs at 9 months, 10 months, and 6 months fresh. Another mini daughter was milking over 8 lbs almost 9 as a 2 year old. She also finished champion with more than one best in show.

Nigerian dwarf goat. Hmmm. Do you believe that in Nigeria milking of these goats is not popular? I've never seen anyone doing that. If you tell the locals these goats can be milked they'll look at you like 'are you ok?'

Hi Poultryguy. It's hard to tell if you're just trying to be funny or if you are serious, but Nigerian dwarf is a breed of dairy goat, the smallest breed. They have the same origins as the African pygmy goat, but the Nigerians have been selected for their milking ability and dairy characteristics, whereas the pygmies have been selected for meat. Kind of like Nubians and boers.

@Frosted, maybe you don't understand what I said. Let me explain better. I'm from Nigeria and here, many don't know the milking quality of these goats. So they just use it for meat. If you tell them about milking it they'll laugh at you. I'm happy that you guys over there sees the benefits. I'll try it one day.

Ohhh, okay. Nigerian dwarf goats, may not actually be from Nigeria...that is just the name of their breed...it's a US breed of African origins, make sense? We here in the US have developed them to be good milking goats. I have no idea the milking qualities of the goats you have there, but you CAN milk any breed of goat (just some are better at it than others). If you find you like milking goats, you could select for good milkers, too.

I never knew that. It must have been years of selection. I'm highly disappointed it's not our goats.
