Cannot get Black Onyx minerals any more - need replacement

Hi everyone. I have a small local feed store that has carried the Cargill Right Now black onyx minerals that I have been giving to my goats since we have had them. I called to check his inventory and he is out. He said the dealer now makes him order a skid at a time instead of how he was doing it before. I'm sure this is more costly for this size store, and he doesn't know if he can get it in any other way. Heck, one bag lasts me a long time so I'm not exactly a big purchaser.

What other minerals would you recommend for my boys? I need to get some right away. Thank you so much.

I use sweetlix goat minerals for dairy goats because no one around carries Onyx and it isn't worth the cost/effort to get ahold of it IMO. In addition, I copper bolus 2x per year and give BoSe. I really only BoSe/copper bolus breeding animals though. You can use any cattle mineral that is decently high in copper, contains selenium, and isn't super high in salt.

A lot of people here use and like Replamin Plus. It's a paste that you feed them once a weekish. With that, all you should need is a salt lick or loose salt for them.

Here's what I use : Click on the link that says Magnum Milk and then go to the nutrient guarantees.

Replamin is good too if you like having to wrestle goats/do something every week. :P (I don't, lol).

I've used it a little and almost all the goats like the taste and chase you down if you go in their pen with a syringe of it. :P

I use the ADM Alliance Goat Power mineral. I keep it 24/7 but I do use the Replamin Plus gel also. Right now I am only giving the Replamin about every 2 or 3 weeks.

I've been using "Golden Blend" from Hoeggers for many years and am quite happy with it. I've also been using Replamin Plus weekly and my goats would knock me over to get it if I let them as they love it.
