I personally don't do brucellosis because we're a brucellosis free state. You may choose to do different. I test yearly for CAE/Johnes (Elisa), and my herd is 12 years abscess free so I stopped testing for CL. I DO still test NEW animals for CL, CAE, and Johnes 2x before introduced to the main herd and after a 3 month iso period, but I rarely bring in new animals.
You can just use a 6ml syringe and get 6mls of blood out of each doe with one stick. Put 3ml in a red top and 3ml in a lavender top.
I use the 3ml red top tubes from PBS/Jeffers. I'd just order a whole case because they really don't go bad...
As for purple tops I'd go buy some from a local vet. One per doe. G6S is EXPENSIVE - I'd ask the source breeder if they did do the testing already, just in case... If you can get a copy of the parents' negative tests, then you don't have to test at all (It's genetic - if parents aren't carriers, the babies can't be either).
For pooled johnes, you can do just baggies of berries, clearly labeled. You could also get urine cups from your vet, or conical tubes, but it's really not necessary. I believe the test needs at least 1 gram of feces... You don't really want to skimp, though. I'd get a 'handful' per. (Is it sad I measure goat poo by the handful? *sigh*)
