Added a new goat to me herd :)
Welcome Dolly to the herd. Lamancha, going to breed with my Nubian/Saanan buck. She's going to be my first milker. She's 3 years old and "experienced" with hand milking so should be easy for me. Just thought i'd throw her a thread since she's going to be a big part of our family here.

A good goat expereinced at handmilking is a true gift. I know I sure had a time learning to milk! The doe I learned on is also named Dolly. I still have her and she was so patient and easy going. I wouldn't part with her for the world.

I think alot of would be dairy goat owners give up on milking because they start with a doe that is too difficult or unwilling to milk. They get discouraged.
