Well, 2 of the does are not actually in heat like a thought. I guess they were just excited with all the other action.
There is another doeling in heat though. And I put her with the wild Nigerian buckling who at least was attempting to mount her, so hopefully he's got all 3 that I bred with him knocked up. If not, I'll know in 3 weeks, eh?

Now I just wait for the 3 that I pulled CIDRs on to come in.
It is nice having them all kid around the same time, but it also means less premiums/classes to fill at the fairs.
I don't mind them going in labor all at once. Actually, for the last 2 years, my mom has come for a visit when I have a large group of does due and helps watch my human kids, so it is nice if a bunch are due at once. So far, I've had more than one in labor before, but not had them pushing at exactly the same time. If I did, I do have friends that live nearby with goats who would come help too. I've helped others with their kidding goats before, and I'm sure they'd help me too.
