How to keep goat out of donkey fee?

I have 3 acres fenced in. No cross fence yet. I put the donkey feed in a container up high. The donkey can barely get his head in. My full sized nanny goat will raise up on hind legs and manage to eat his feed. Other than separating them, can I stop this?

My donkey will first lay his ears back and switch his tail. Then ,he will nudge the intruder from his bucket with his foreleg. If that doesn't work, he just picks up the goat by the scruff and removes it bodily. He has actually come along way from pounding them into the ground.

A donkey shouldn't need any grain at all. Only working and gestating equines require grain. Most pleasure horses don't even need it. Save your money and avoid the risk of your goat getting injured. Let them be peaceful pasture mates on hay alone.

As said, she probably doesn't need grin. If she DOES (lactating, late gestation, poor keeper, ill etc etc), then you could get a feed bag for her. Take it off after she's done with her ration.
