Got a 6 week old buckling

Lady is getting out of nubians and going boer I got this 6 week old nubian buckling. We talked quite a bit about worming and such her place is clean and goats all looked good. There were some things that we didn't see eye-eye but that is normal, right...
This boy is 6 weeks old and she just weened him, should I try to put him back on the bottle, with my schedule it will be hard? And at 6 weeks he still has his horns, which have already caught in my clothes...
Going to worm with baycox today...

He's flashy! I think if you could manage to supplement with one bottle a day that would be better than nothing. At his age that would be a quick 2 minute scarf. Its a shame about the horns. They look too big to burn, maybe a good time to band?

I'd try to get him back on the bottle if possible, at least 2x per day for another month at least. I also like the results I get from feeding a sheep grower feed - free choice to young kids, rationing it out to older kids - good amount of protein, balanced 2:1 and with ammonium chloride mixed in. I added in alfalfa pellets not really for the calcium (though you can go higher than 2:1 calcium to some degree, safely, but too high is also bad, bigger range of error than for phosphorous though) but to increase my forage quality - if your forage quality is good/has alfalfa, then I wouldn't worry too much about it. :P

Thanks guys. Tried bottle and he didn't really want it but got some down, forage is still real good here, nibbles at the hay. Monkey and PT are really good with him and he has started following them around. I wasn't going to put him with the boys because I thought the boys would be too mean it was the girls that were mean and head butting him...hard
Monkey and PartyTime just sniffed him and went back to eating, today "Titan" was following them around and they let him. Monkey and PT share a house but I am going to have to build a bigger one before Titan outgrows the large doghouse he likes.
Weighed him today(27#) and gave him some baycox.

May want to do an actual deworming, too. (Baycox will get coccidia only). If he were mine, I'd start him on an energy source to replace the nutrition he'd be getting from milk otherwise (Here, that would be the lamb grower). Copper bolus/BoSe, and I'd probably do a couple boosters of vaccination over the next couple weeks. That's all my management protocols, though. :P

I'm also always a very strong proponent for isolation periods when bringing in new stock.

I would snip, burn, snip, burn, snip and burn until those horns are no more.
