Cherry kidded!!!
My ketosis girl kidded today 3 healthy beautiful does. Cherry and all 3 girls are perfect. Here's a few photos. That is my beautiful niece and we gave her the girl standing behind her. Mom has the one she wants on her lap. I am going to see what the 3rd girl does this spring at the shows but maybe for sale later. This is Faith (my niece) , Charity (moms) and Hope.

I was beyond surprise to be honest. I didn't think triplets and never would of thought girls. They are bouncing around and eating like a pro.

You are sooo lucky . . . out of six kids and two years, we've gotten one doeling. And no triplets. Four kiddings, two singles. One problem birth with single. I sure hope we have better luck next year . . . beautiful kids by the way!

Nice big beautiful babies! I have to admit I'm stumped - how did you get babies this time of year? I thought they only came into heat in the fall?

The norm is they come into heat in the fall but ours normally start coming into heat from may on. We had girls kid last year in November which means they were bred in July. I have had girls come into heat here all year long and they are for the most part all pure bred Lamancha. I have a couple grades, and a couple meat girls. I honestly have a harder time getting them to come into heat now then I do in the hotter months.

It is honestly this buck we have. All he has given us so far is does. We just ended kidding for 2014 and we got 1 buckling (wethered because the bf loves him) 9 girls, 8 of those girls are from that one buck. My boyfriend Eric calls him ''The Doe Maker".
These little babies are something else. They are 4 days old now and bouncing off the walls already eating off the Lamb Bar. I cannot wait until show season starts to see how they do.

Of course it is! The buck is always the one that decides. Remember . . . does have YY (or XX, I forget which) and bucks have XY . . . so the buck passes on either the X or the Y?

My mom and me were talking about this last night. I am getting him collected and we are going to see what his sperm looks like. I have a feeling it's because hes umm "a one hit wonder". This buck could have a raging in heat girl and he will only do it once a day that is it. I would of like a buck out him and Cherry but just thankful everyone is healthy.
