Goat acting "off", not sure what to do

Hi all. My head goat Oleo, was acting a bit weird tonight. At dinner she was fine. Acting like a giraffe as usual trying to be the first to get her hay. Ate everything all up as usual. After dinner when I went to let everyone out, she is usually first one out and into the pasture with everyone following her. Instead she wouldn't come out of her pen. I actually had to pull her out. Then I walked to the pasture and she was the last in line. Tonight when I went to put them away, I found her in the barn standing there with her back to the door. I put everyone away and when I opened her pen she walked in and stopped before the back wall and just stood there. I checked her all out. She's not bloated, looks fine. I pulled her out of the pen and went and got some hay. She acted interested and ate the hay but not vigorously like usual.
I just went and checked her now and she is just standing there. Everyone else is laying down for the night. She did walk around her pen when I enticed her.
So nothing major, but compared to her normal behavior I am worried.
Any suggestions?

We did just get our first little buck about 2 1/2 weeks ago (born in March) and he was a bit ahem, crazy this morning? Hunching his back and acting weird. She spent a lot of the day looking down at his pen. He is 200 feet away, but they can see each other.

thanks.

Take her temperature, check her lower inner eyelids (if pale pink, she's anemic), watch for good pee and poo events. If all is normal, she could be coming into heat.

The buckling sounds normal.

Watch for: goat polio - or listerosis (same symptoms, only listerosis requires penicillin along with thiamine).

She could be getting acidosis. Immediately treat with baking soda drench- 1 tsp baking soda to 1 cup of water and put down her with a large syringe.

If she has acidosis, this will help (although there is a whole protocol) until you determine you need to get a lot more proactive. If she is not - this will not hurt. Pretty safe thing to do with little risk with a great upside if this is the problem.

Hopefully she is just moody when in heat (ours are always happy or determined - higher energy, not less).

There are just too many reasons why she could be acting like she is; so if she were mine, I'd be getting some products in her that could counter some problems and NOT cause problems, especially since you said she is usually of high energy.

Activated charcoal for possible poisoning
Probios Paste for upset rumen
C.M.P.K. to help bring system into balance
Vitamin B Comples (high potency with thiamine in it)

I'd stop offerring her grain for a few days, put some electrolytes in her drinking water and worm her with Cydectin (following this in 10 days with Ivermectin Plus).

If she has temperature, I'd choose whatever Rx drug I had on hand that might address the situation.

One of the most important things is to keep her drinking water and eating a quality hay....even a walk into forestry where she could pick and choose what she wants to nibble on.

I hate to say but I have a kneejerk reaction if I think a goat is 'off' but I can't put my finger on what exactly is off. I give some oral B Complex a couple of times. I suspect it's solely because it makes me feel better while not hurting the goat.
But I also spend time brushing up on the common goat baddies like goat polio, bloat, etc and check I have treatments on hand for these issues.

Like Alice said: Get a temp, check mucous membranes, look under her tail for signs of heat.

You mentioned she walked around the pen. Was she going in one direction only? Are her eyes tracking?
