I don't like the jr's back and rump. I don't like the Sr's neck, could be longer. The doe has a great back and rump IMO, and I like her neck/brisket.
Honestly, its a toss up. You can get better or worse kids either way you go.  Just gotta hope the right things show up at the right time. You could get the same head on the perfect combination of doe and Sr buck, or you could get a better head on an animal that has a steep rump and a weak back like the jr buck. Or you could get a better head on an animal with a great back and rump. :P I'd rather have a poor head than poor body structure. And, you don't milk the head.  I'd use that jr buck lightly this year to see how he matures, and only on does with strong backs and VERY level rumps. His back looks a little stretchy there, like he's standing funny... he may mature with a stronger back than that picture makes him look. His sire has it to a small degree, as well. I wish you could see them on the move, lol.
