Bought wrong ivermectin !

I realized, after getting home, that I should have bought the 1% ivomec. I bought the .08% sheep drench. Should I return this or just use it? I can't find much info on dosing this kind.

If it's not too far, take it back and get the right stuff.

If it's too far to take it back, increase by dose by .02.

Bad math?

Wouldn't increasing .08 by .02 give you a .1%? Not the same as a 1%. 1% is 10mg/ml, whereas a .08% is only .8mg/ml.

So, you'd have to make the dose much much bigger.

I would not deal with it, the dose would be huge. I hate dosing large amounts of nasty stuff into a goat... they just fight it, hate it, and usually spit out/spill a lot.

A decimal misplaced is as bad as an improperly; used, punct-uation. Both can be deadly.
