For those of you that run your own fecals....

What microscope do you use or recommend? As I feared, my son's microscope will not do. The light is not bright enough and the focus is not very sharp. Plus I have to manually move the slide around which jerks and jiggles the sample if you know what I mean. I figured if I had a few good specific recommendations from ya'll, I could keep my eyes peeled for a used one on eBay. Thanks!

I use this microscope and it works fabulously. The $83 sale price it's currently listed at is a decent price. I think I paid $79 for it when I bought it right before Christmas last year.

I got mine through Maggidans it works wonderfully, the smaller size fits nice on my counter too!

This is the one I bought and it works well. So glad I learned how to do my own fecals. Not only saves time but allows me more flexibility in evaluating herd health. Good luck!
