Easy peasy- just have your reciept-- I dont even know if there is a timeline. The latest I have returned one is 3 weeks I think (thought the book wasnt worth $20, but I have bought plenty of books from them in the past)...

Who you should ask is TSC, but why would you want to return a book? If you don't get the animal now, you'll at least always have the knowledge, or I should say the information readily available when you do decide, and it sounds like you can use all of the help you can get.

I'm just gonna focus on goats and chickens for the next 2 years then buy a mare once I'm ready and I already know about them but could learn more so I want to return for a horse book

I hope this means you have decided against breeding rabbits, because, trust me, there is a huge learning curve with rabbits. Rabbits are a lot like goats- when things go wrong, they can go downhill VERY quickly.

Best of luck then. That goes double for any animals that you happen to own, now or in the future.

Call TSC and they'll be able to answer your questions. Return policies may vary from store to store. Why in the world would you return the book? You ought to read about equines for a couple years then take big time serious lessons before even having even a little notion in your head before getting an equine.

You don't plan on breeding that mare, do you?

Not that it really matters because a store is gonna do what it wants anyway but if I am not mistaken they shouldn't take it back LEGALLY....because it is copyrighted. Especially if it had been 3 weeks (many books I've read front to back in one day...I know other people are similar but not everyone).

BUT I am not saying they won't take it back or it isn't the 'right' thing for them to do.....just saying don't be surprised if they say no.
