Right now bronze

I've read on this site that Right Now Onyx is a beneficial mineral for goats. It's hard to find! I've found a local ranch that can order it for me but has some bronze on stock now. The farmer I talked to said this product is seasonal. Meaning you feed each color based on the season.

Anyone here use the bronze?

I can't offer help on the bronze, other than to say that my local TSC(Tractor Supply Company) carries it...but I've always used the Onyx and they do carry it year-round.

Here is the link to the manufacturer's website with the descriptions of the different type of "Right Now" minerals: http://www.cargill.com/feed/species/...-now-minerals/

Just FYI, the Right Now minerals contain animal fat. Just letting you know in case that is a deal breaker and you go through a ton of trouble to get it only to find out later! I've not used the bronze. I used the Onyx (which is what most goat people use) a long time ago and quit because of the animal fat (I figure it's probably pork fat since it can't be beef fat...could also be chicken?).

Eww. Right now I'm feeding the Bluebonnet Techmaster Complete Mineral, but the "Right Now" minerals sure are easier to get. Feeding animal fat to herbivores is plain gross though.

I don't see animal fat in that list. Did I miss it?

Onyx in needed for goats year round because of the copper level.

I'm using bronze as I can't get Onyx anymore, but I haven't been using it for long so can't say yet how I like it. I picked it because it has the next highest copper levels. I don't remember anything else, but the copper in it is 1500. I can look at a label if you want, but it will be a couple of days. We're right in the middle of fair at the moment.
