Mystery ~ need suggestions

Ok, so I hung a fly paper in the baby pen overnight hoping to catch some of the darned flies. When I opened the pen up to the mothers for the day I forgot to remove the fly paper. I was out of town for the day and when I got home the paper was gone..... My first thought was of course that it go eaten but have been hoping that isn't the case...

So, this morning one of my does gave little to no milk and had very little interest in her grain ~ strange~ when I got home from work this afternoon, I discovered she now has diarrhea. Could she have eaten a sticky, long fly paper and if so should I do anything to treat it or let it run it's course? I am a very nervous mother so would appreciate any help!

Vegetable oil will release the glue when it's stuck to someone/something. Perhaps drenching her with some will help it make its way through. It will give her more diarrhea but at least the tape won't stick to her insides

I'd look at the ingredients. It may be that there is something toxic in it too.

It's not tape sticking that's a worry. The concern would be the tape itself getting trapped in the inner workings like any other piece of plastic (if it's plastic). In such a situation, I'm unaware of anything you can do but hope and pray it makes it's way out. If not, she may need to be euthanized humanely because dying from impaction is very painful.

Where I want to is right. The better scenario is she's just feeling punky from maybe a fly attractant that's in it or something. In which case charcoal would have been good early on...I don't know if it would do much now.

I can't see anywhere on the package that it says there are any "ingredients". It does say there are no insecticides. It only says it has special attracting glue. She is chewing her cud and eating hay & drinking water. I'm hoping these are all good signs.

One of my does managed to get one and eat it and survived. I never noticed her being off at all. I have no idea how she got it down, I had it really high.
