My wife is making soaps and lotions

And she's really doing good at it. She and her mom are using the lotions after baths. The soaps look and smell awesome. She says she has to wait 6 weeks to use them. Next is cheese. I love cheese. My friend bought two bottle baby's and needed some milk so I'm giving them about 10 gallons a week. They will wean in about a month. She's going to have to get busy making lots of stuff when we have an extra 10 gallons a week. the picture is the closet. Lol

I love having dairy goats. My human kids are sucking down all the dairy products I can make right now (milk, yogurt, cheese...) but I'm hoping to have a little extra for soap before we start drying goats off. I love me some cold process soap!

I love making milk soap! I am too impatient to wait for cold process to cure though and most my customer's like the rustic look of the hot process.
I just made a soap for dogs cedar wood/orange/tea tree essence oil and infused some olive oil with fennel seed and oatmeal, let it set up with a cut straw standing in it so I can thread a rope through. Dog soap on a rope!

Those are good looking soaps. I have a pair of goats, and I imagine one of them will start producing milk as these things happen. My wife complains that she can't drink goat milk or eat goat cheese because she can taste goat. Maybe I can get her and the kids busy making soap too

That's too bad... I can't taste any "goat" in my goat milk. Everyone says it taste like cow milk, which makes me shudder....we think it is much better.

I'm going to try to win her over, I'm going to learn to make cheese regardless. I'm not a big milk drinker myself.

I can't drink cow milk now after drinking goat milk. It tastes like watered down milk.

My wife makes soap too. Here lately it's just been for us though. She has two or three other regular customers. We make all kinds of cheese. (When we have extra milk)
