New Junior Herdsire(pictures)

Drove to Indianapolis to meet with the breeder(from Louisiana) & pick up our new junior herdsire. Got him home yesterday.
He's a 6th generation mini nubian.
Here is Whispering Willow Sky Rocket.
We Love him already. He lost a little weight during the trip & just weaned before they left but I think he'll fill out nicely.

He's even making some new friends but cries every time I leave him.

Goodness isn't he pretty! You almost make me think keeping a buck is a good idea.

But seriously, I don't have the fencing or the housing and I need to build my milk room and I only have three does. Nope nope nope. I will not be sucked in.

goodness he is pretty. He didn't know if he wanted to be a gray roan or, black and red.

That color is gorgeous! I used to think the black roan nubians were my favorite color of nubian, but I think I have a new one.

I have not been a fan of the outcome of crossing to make the Mini Nubians I always thought they where a little funky but this guy really has blended nicely of the two breeds, Im seeing more and more nice crosses and interested in seeing the breed grow. Congratulations on your purchase.
