What breed and how old do you think they are?

Hi I'm wondering how old and what breed y'all think she is I was told alpine

She appears to be mostly alpine. However, from the picture she looks to have a bit of a roman nose. Now, if she moved as you were snapping the picture, it could just be blurred a bit or a bad angle.

Without registration paperwork, you can never know lineage for sure. If she doesn't have a roman nose and conforms to the breed standard for Alpine, you could get her Native On Appearance by another ADGA member. Then after several generations of breeding to american or pure bred Alpines, you could have American registered Alpines - and most Alpines are 'American'.

There are quite a few goat folks in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. See if you can locate one who tests for CAE, ask her to teach you to draw blood. MUCH less expensive than having the doc come out to the farm.
