So they were excited about the feed at first, then when they checked it out they don't want it? If so, could be there is mold and they can smell it. this time of year feed can get bad quick. I would check it out thoroughly. If they are acting normal otherwise, I would say there is something wrong with that bag.

Is it the first time feeding out of that bag? Did you check to see if it smells differently? Musty? Moldy?

Did they do something different today? Browse in the forest? Get into a green grass patch that they had not been in?

What kind of goats? How many? How old? All exhibiting the same behavior?

If the bag smells ok to you and otherwise they act ok, don't fret over it too much. My milking does get grain on the stand and some days none of them want much if any and the next day they are all over it. Same grain from the same bag, no change. Many times it has more to do with the weather than anything. Just before a storm comes in everybody is starving to death and the day after the storm they all seem to lose most of their appetites.
