Spoiled kid ((Doug))

So I was starting to get a little worried about Vanilla, for the last 3 days I have noticed that she wasn't trying to gobble up the bit of grain I put out for everyone in the morning and the little bit I bribe them all with to follow me to the other pasture area...this is the plain jane mfa goat feed with alfalfa and BOSS added in.
Seriously all the others it is rush to see who can eat the most but not Vanilla! I checked her eyelids and temp, listened to lungs, everything was normal well except both Vanilla and Penny still get a bit of bottle in the morning and I should have weened them completely now. I know bad goat mommy.

I figured it out today.....
I grabbed a handful of the dairy goat ration (with alfalfa & boss) and she gobbled it down ...fingers and all (jk)

Thanks Doug you sold me a prim a dona!!
So anyone else have one of those????

I have some that think they can do that. Eat what we give you or starve - and if you choose starve, I choose cull.

Gosh, our bucks won't take most fruit! So if they need copper or something . . . we're stumped.

We found that the one treat that all our goats will eat is in-the-shell roasted peanuts. Fill the shell with coppet and peanut butter, and they'll gobble it down.
