attempt at pictures
First of all you must tell the person behind the camera what you want...my DD tried, these are what she took.

You also want to get down at the goat's level. (hence the crouching and sore knees).
I will hop (in the crouch position mind you) a little to the left and then a little to the right to see what looks best. Take lots since digital are free and then you can hopefully choose the best one.
BTW, we always take dairy goats out of the pen (too tame and the other goats are either in the way or you only get face shots of the goat you wish to photograph).
Boer goats - depends. Sometimes we pose, sometimes we take them in the pen.

Thanks! I have to be honest when winter finally subsided my poor goats looked awful, 3 of them had patches of hair loss especially on the ears, and 2 of them had flaky skin, it was my fault I had fallen back on just a loose goat mineral over the winter.
So I started the replamin plus back up and within 2 weeks all the dry hair, flaky skin was gone, and the hair started growing back on the ears. Boy did they shine right up, lost their winter coats in record time and sleeked right out.
So now I know at least here I really need the extra mineral boost and won't slouch off again.
