Did I hear him say 40?! In Australia that would be kilometers, though, not MPH, I guess. Still a fast goat!

About 24.8 mph. Wow! That's fast for a goat (I guess. I don't know optimum goat speed.) He looks pretty tuckered out though.

If there was a truck of peanut hay pulling away, I bet he'd run even faster. I know my goats would...

Yearly before they ran out of money, they used to have fighter jets fly really low over the MIS racetrack that's a stone's throw from my house. They'd do a few passes in formation for a while at height, then do their final fly over going a bajillion miles an hour really low and REALLY loud. They fly right over our property.

My goats ran much faster than Gary when the jets flew over on their final pass. I've never seen goats run so fast, in fact. Full tilt, more like a neck-down gallop with their little spindly legs churning our sandy soil, putting all racehorses to shame. I saw baby goats trampled (they were fine), and they got stuck in the door to the barn (it's not narrow) in their haste to safety.
