Banding question...

How soon after banding can I put a buckling in with a doe?

A week to ten days is normally the outer limit for viable sperm if the banding was done right. By then you would expect that the scrotum would feel cold and have started hardening.

Vet says three weeks to be on the safe side. Just banded a yearling bull so just asked her.
