Those meat goats are going to be tough! There's no fat on them.

I barely see any muscle either. I don't raise meat goats but those look so thin to me

The one in the 2nd picture has some twine loosely on his/her leg. I am hoping there is hay somewhere we can't see but they don't ook like they are getting much of anything. I have one dairy doe that is harder to keep weight on when in milk but these guys look thinner than her and less shiny etc. I wish I could take them in!

Wow. A couple of them looked downright bony. My Nubians look meatier than that!

Yikes. Well maybe that's why they're selling, can't afford to feed. Hope the sale price reflects that...

Looks like a catch pen that had cattle in it prior to the picture taking session.

I agree that the goats are a bit thin, and the owners are selling out.

Life happens. Hope they go to a good home.

A good deworming and 3 months on good browse and a 17% pellet and they will double their weight. I wonder what they sold for.

Looks like most of them were just fine weight. There were a couple thin dairies or dairy crosses, may have come from a recent purchase it sale bar.

Maybe I just noticed the thinner ones. I thought they were boers so I thought it was extra thin. I bet you are right bout the cattle catch pen after looking closer Alice. I guess depending on the time of day mine can look fat or thin too and life does happen for sure. My family member had life threatening medical problems when born and everything in my life besides that went on auto pilot/backburner for a while. I just hope they do well and find a great home!
