Split in scrotom on buckling

I am looking at buying 2 myotonic bucklings. 1 has a small split in the tip of his scrotom. Should I be concerned about this? His sire also has a split and produces some kids with it and some without. So I assume it is a genetic thing? Could the offspring without a split also be carrying this genetic trait but not show it? And possibly continue to pass it on? Thanks for any input! I am not new to goats but am new to breeding them!

Speaking of split scrotum I ran across this video yesterday. The goat has one for each testicle. What in the weirdness?

Wow, that must be the completely split scrotum the myo website was describing.
