Cylence - are we overdosing?

I know the info here says to use Cylence at 4 mL/100#, but the dosage listed for cattle (from the manufacturer) is 4 mL/400# (so 1 mL/100#). Are we giving the goats more because of their high metabolism, or is that just some random number someone came up with for treating goats? It hasn't hurt my herd and, in fact, has helped a great deal; however, I want to make sure that I'm not doing more harm than good.

I'm not at home right now to look at my bottle, but I think it says 400 pounds and under to give the smallest dosage.

Oh, I know that part (did medical transcription for 8 years). Only conversion I had to do was kg to lbs, but there's a neat online conversion tool
