I'm getting a <gasp!> Am. Nubian buckling!

Someone in a group I belong to was looking for help drawing blood for G6S testing, so I went and drew samples from 8 of her goats yesterday. As payment she's giving me a registered American Nubian buckling! He's big and beautiful, and will make a great herd sire. I know, I know - he's 'American,' but he's still Nubian

No matter how hard I try, I just can't leave the Nubians alone

Sorry - no pics yet. I'm waiting on her test results to bring him home, but feel confident that everything will be fine

I don't understand why people have issue with American. Nubians are still able to grade up to pure in the ADGA correct? Anyways I am excited for you!

Hmm okay Doug...I guess I am just used to my LaManchas

. But still American or Pure in my book doesn't matter as long as the animal is a great representation of the breed standard. American just means hybrid vigor in my books
