Test results are in...
As some of you said, the test results came in via email just a few minutes ago. The great news is that all 5 adults are negative for CAE. The sad news is that my registered Nubian doe is open. I was really hoping she was bred, since I lost my registered Nubian buck in January. It would have been nice to have had some PB Nubian kids from him. Also bittersweet because I lost my other PB Nubian doe in March, two weeks prior to her due date - a kid died and made her septic. Oh well, that's farm life - take the bitter with the sweet

The CAE results are wonderful.

Sorry for the disappointing pregnancy test.

Life on the farm is hard.

Congrats on the negatives and sorry you had so much disappointment this spring! we were just talking to the feed store clerk, she said she just lost her favorite boer doe. She gave birth to two doelings and was fine for two days, dead on the third. Autopsy showed she had two more bucklings in her that died in untero.

Until I fell in love with my goats I could never have understood how heart breaking it would be to lose one. Congrats on your good test results.
