Afterbirth question

Wonderful day..my mini nubian cuties had her twins about an hour ago..I will post pics when I can..I have a question..she has not expelled her after birth..it's jut hanging there with the big bubble...is that okay and how long is okay..oh yeah..one Doeling and one buck..just what we hoped for

It usually takes till the babies nurse or you milk her for it to come out.

I wouldn't worry too much unless it takes more than a few hours. Mine usually expell within about 2 hours. You can give small doses of oxytocin to help the placenta pass if it isn't coming. Sounds like all went well, though, congrats.

If it's there 24hrs after labor, I start antibiotics. That's very unusual, however, most will come out within a few to several hours. Don't pull on it.
