New milker

I have had make goats for a while now and just recently added a couple females to my herd for milking and more goat production. Since I have never milked or raised goats before, just had the boys I have run into some questions that I was hoping someone could answer or provide some good reference material.
1. My female goats have never been milked before and is there any easy way to introduce it to them? Their kids have fed off them but they don't like being milked. They just sit down when I get to milk them. They are new to me so they are not as friendly with me as the other goats but that will take time. My mining station is away from the other goats but in sight should it not be in sight? She goes through the feed I put there and then when she is done she just sits down and won't let me continue milking. Any suggestions for a new goat milker?
2.

Put a five gallon bucket (upside down) under her chest.

Put a tennis ball or a rock that size in the feed dish to slow her down.

Good ideas!!

What about moving the milking station to out of site from other goats. Would that normally help or does it not matter?

If the situation were here, I would not move anything. I would expect her to conform to what I needed. That being said, the idea of her sitting down on you is new to me and that bucket just might work. When I have a fast eater, I show her down with large pebbles in her grain pan that she has to work around to get the grain.

My FF is a sitter, or was I should say. The bucket did the trick for her.

Ya the bucket definitely helped on that.

I know that if you stop milking a goat they will stop producing milk but how long would it take for them to stop producing? Is it a few days or a week?
