Off to Texas

San Antonio to be exact. It's a 3 day business trip. I leave Wednesday around 3am and get back Friday about midnight. I wanted to take my wife but haven't found anyone I trust to watch the house, milk the goats, feed the chickens, horses, etc etc etc. If I could take her, I would leave Tuesday and get back same time. I am taking my step son turkey hunting Saturday morning for the youth hunt.

AND to top it off I have a doe due the day after I leave. She's a FF. Praying everything goes smoothly for Jamie.

I'm doing CIDR's on everyone this fall. I have to plan my kiddings for my conferences for next year so Jamie isn't alone when they kid.

The cameras are all set up. The does are in the kidding stall. O yea. Another is due the 16th, so two are in there.

Anyone want to farm set for 3 days?

Our human kids to a good chunk of the work here -- can't wait until this school
year is out, I need them lol.

Enjoy your trip, I'm sure Jaime will be fine (and your FF!)
I'd come for coffee if we were closer (after playing w/ critters of course!!)

At least you are already half way there!

Doug, if I we're closer, I'd "have your six". I hope everything is smooth at home and your trip goes well.

Oh I bet she could probably handle it if I can handle what I'm doing now at 8 months.

Boy and girl. Had to help deliver. They are small and it's a good thing. I've had great luck with my FF's this year. Of course I don't mess around. I go right in and get them out.

Well, that's no good!

There's probably a lot of stuff that I really shouldn't be doing right now, like hopping fences, carrying buckets full of milk, etc, but I feel fine, so I'll just do what feels okay. This one is all out in front, and seems like heavy objects don't hurt my back much, but may strain my belly muscles a bit too much. I let hubs handle big stuff whenever possible if he is home...but it doesn't always work that way...and I'm careful enough. Anyway, good luck to your daughter and I think she is probably past the danger zone now, so hopefully all goes well here on out!
