folding registrations for mailing

This feels like a silly question, but I still want to double check myself. Getting ready to send in my goat transfers but don't have any big envelopes. Is it ok to fold the old registration certs to put in a regular envelope - they issue new ones, right?

Thanks!

You can fold them any time you want to.

Can you do that, Doug? I think they need the original certificate, so that they can destroy the old one and are sure there is only one running around out there. Although, i guess I have had papers re-issued that I lost...

Thanks guys! They do require the original to be mailed to them, at least that is what I am reading.

Yep, mail in the original it matters not if it's folded. I like to keep a copy while waiting for any new papers.

I email and fax mine. I even took pictures and texted the applications.

I need to add. Don't ask them. Just do it. I've been doing all mine by fax and email ever since the online application went down once and they told me to do it that way.
