Powdered Milk

Has anybody tried feeding powdered milk to kids? Like cow milk that is powdered? I have some that I got for free, and was thinking of getting some heavy cream to mix it with and up to the proper butterfat amount (the dry milk is non-fat). Just wondering if any others had experience doing this and if it turned out well?

I've never tried this, but my first thought was, "non-fat!". Then I read that you plan to mix in cream. Sounds workable to me!

I just thought it might be cheaper (since the dry milk was free), to buy the cream than buying whole milk--which I am feeding right now. I might experiment on my boer bottle kids first. LOL.
