Jane had one big buckling, Mr Kidd's first son last week. Things have been too crazy and I forgot to post about him here.

I am calling him Georgie Porgie and when he is grown we will be making pie from him. He's adorable and friendly but I don't need another related buck so this will be my first guy born here to be entered into freezer camp later.

In order to make myself keep that promise I am leaving him horned and uncut. I'll probably breed my little mutt goat to him before the end.

... He's awful sweet. I wonder if I'll be able to go through with it?
