Over 36hrs since induced...

Induced Bungie 5:00 AM on Sat morning with Lute. Still no signs of serious pushing. I went to a rabbit show on Sat and haven't gotten many hours of sleep since getting up at 4:15 on Sat AM due to night checks last night. She lost her ligs on Sat PM. She's still in 'early labor' signs - no goo, not nesting. Maybe some VERY mild 'positioning' contractions and stretches haven't seen anything exciting the past several checks... I bounced her to see, and the kids aren't ready to go (they're usually right on the floor of the belly in front of the udder if they are). Her udder is HUGE. *sigh*.

I think this is retaliation for inducing her. She normally goes over 150d, so now she's gotta go over hours on inducing.

Wow. Never have one go over 36 without something wrong going on in there. Be it something simple like a oddly positioned kid or ad like a tangled up train wreck. But I have never induced with just lute. We use dex and lute. Good luck. Hope she doesn't keep you waiting too long

Just checked up to my wrist... she's not dilated, I was just in the vagina. She is NOT in distress, so I'm going to leave her be. I'm very behind on sleep now though. In the past I've used lute alone or lute+dex... same results. I don't induce often though. I just did it this time in hopes that she would kid before my work week. I spent 75.00 in gas alone last week driving an hour to work so I could stay at the farm and check her for labor. I work weds-thurs-fri this week again and I didn't want to repeat that and/or miss work after spending all that gas money.

Hm, I've induced two or three now (can't remember now, lol). I did not use dex, and first one kids were on the ground about 33 hours later, second kids on the ground about 29 hours. Maybe she needs to get out and move about some...get things worked up in there. Did you get the shot in a good IM shot? 2 cc Lute?

It's now 630 am (more than 48 hrs after lute) and she's still in early labor signs. I had given 2cc lute IM... no distress. Someone on FB suggested another dose. I will probably try that... I'm.also going.to milk her. That udder is ginormo.

I did give her another dose of Lute. I also gave her 20cc CMPK gel, and a bit of keto gel. She is not showing any problems, but figured it can't hurt. She ate some grain but wasn't chowing down. Watching her jump onto the milkstand was sad, lol... she is an athletic doe but I think the kids are more positioned today, she hopped her front feet up and then the back ones. Poor girl.

Milked her out (figured it would stimulate oxytocin!) and give her some relief. She's got a bit of udder edema, poor thing. I massaged, put udder balm with peppermint oil in it on there. Colostrum is in the multi cooker.

And - she has a nice visible glob of white goo on the hooha. Most exciting thing I've seen the past 2 days. :P It's still not amber, but its SOMETHING! Since last night she's been spending a lot more time laying down and a lot less time interested in the hay in there... waiting.... waiting...

Oh good grief, she likes to drag things out, doesn't she?! I figured you'd say she kidded last night...
Is this your black AI doe? I hope you are busy playing with new babies by now!
