Happy Valentines Day
Almost forgot.
I didn't forget Jamie. She got a mothers ring, chocolate and roses. She texted her mom and sisters and posted it on Facebook for everyone.

Uh...I got a 5 lb doeling? LOL My husband got me a rose plant and a new coffee machine. I am not one for things that don't last so the plant I can enjoy all year and the coffee maker is all sorts of fancy so I can indulge my caffeine addiction.
Love the smiling baby - face btw.

I got candy and Kleenexes. Yay! LOL! I've spent the day coughing, blowing my nose, and selling rabbits.
I can't get over how cute your little daughter is. But I also forgot her name. What's her name? lol

That little girl of yours is so cute! Sounds like you guys had a great valentines day.
So sorry some of you here are sick & hope you feel better soon.
I worked but that was good, made hubby valentine cupcakes & he was happy. We don't do much for Valentines day.

My mom always said Valentine's Day was silly... instead of picking one day out of the year to show how much you love your wife/husband/girlfriend/boyfriend, you should show them every day. She's always the type that doesn't like scheduled surprises (birthday, valentines day, etc.)... she wants to be actually surprised and shown that people love her, when she least expects it, lol.

Nothing wrong with a day set aside to show someone you care. I liked getting a cake and a gift and the other stuff.
My wife gets flowers several times a year though. She loves getting roses just because.

Yeah. There is nothing wrong with it at all, I was just mentioning it. Different people do different things.

Loooove that little rugrat's smile!
I got nothin'. Bought everyone (husband, the two teenagers, the 21 yr old and her boyfriend) a card and their favorite candy and I bought some beautiful roses from Aldi for the dining room table.

Hubby fixed a wonderful supper: venison backstrap (melted in my mouth), fried mushrooms and peppers, beets and Italian bread. We had the woodstove open to see the fire, glass of our wine. Then I surprised him: turned on the TV and watched the Beetles Tribute. He had to work last Sunday when it aired and a friend taped it for me. This was our time period, juniors in high school, when they invaded USA. I can NOT believe it was 50 years ago. I remember that night, when they were on the Sullivan show, like it was last month....

Yep, Aldis carries bouquets a few times a year, potted plants occasionally and rose bushes and such, too.
