Thermometers

Just a reminder, since we've been seeing lots of posts on sick goats lately. PLEASE go out and spend a couple bucks on a thermometer for your animal first aid kit. We all should have them!! It should be the FIRST thing you do if you think your goat is sick. Take the goat's temperature! And keep monitoring temp until the goat is fully recovered!

Just like with humans, taking temperature is incredibly important when diagnosing a problem with a goat. It's a simple thing to do and can really help in diagnosing issues!

Along with that, it is important to know what each goat's normal temperature is to compare when you are dealing with one that is having issues.
