Babies over the weekend !!

We had four does kid over the weekend, at the same time me and the wife had the flu. Thank the Lord for our two helpers. Seven babies in all, 4 doelings 3 bucklings. No problems except the last doe that went about midnight Sunday. Buck had a head bent back. My wife went in and straightened him out.

Yeah, Flu is going around. I had to go to town and get Goat Milker this morning at Mills . I yelled my order in the door at Steve and waited for him to load. Didn't want to spread my germs. This had been a bad winter for MOMO land.

I talked to Sandy W this morning. She said John and Little John haven't been able to get rid of the cough. Almost get it licked, and another front blows in.

BTW, back to the goat kids. Those are HUGE.

Yeah, they were good size kids, I didn't weigh them but probably 8 or 9 lb a piece. Dharma the little white one on the lambar is the smallest. All were twins except one big girl out of a third freshener. Don't know why she only had one, because of the young buck that bred all four that weekend. They have legs like a giraffe. Going to disbud everyone today.

OH! Cute name, Dharma. I may just use that this year, I need 'D' names. Those kids are adorable and the goats are too.
